Welcome to Ponta Malongane where we do our dives in the warm waters of Southern Mozambique, at a holiday resort nestling next to some of the most outstanding coral reefs in the world, and also home to the very large and famous Potato Bass, Bert.
Malongane is situated approximately 18 Km's north of the Kosi Bay border post and we find this unique and unspoilt destination gives divers maximum relaxation and enjoyment.

• Only 7 hours drive from Pretoria to this unspoilt corner of paradise.
• The kit up area is on a wooden deck under the lapa.
• The reefs are pristine and exciting with interesting names such as Three sisters, Pinnacles, Bass City and Doodles.
• Your accommodation is approximately 15 metres from the beach. When last did the sound of surf and not alarms put you to sleep.
• The dive camp is a dedicated dive camp so the ample rinse, kit up and drying facilities were designed by diver for divers.
• There are staff to assist with equipment loading and rinsing.
• The skippers are all experienced divers and spearos.
• There is a rustic second story pub overlooking Malongane bay.
• The beach is naturally protected at low tide which makes it ideal for swimming and snorkeling.

  The tents are under a waterproof reed awning which ensures your comfort as they are cool and dry.
• LOG HUTS - 2 persons sharing:
  5 day dives, log hut accommodation plus self catering levy - R1330.00 per person.

  The log huts are furnished with 2 beds with foam mattresses and have lights. The large windows and roomy balcony ensure your stay is a comfortable one.

There is a fully equipped communal kitchen with gas stoves, electric freezers, fridges, crockery, cutlery including pots, pans and utensils etc including braai facilities for the self catering divers. The shop sells limited groceries and fresh bread (pao) daily. The communal area is a large wooden deck covered by thatch (Lapa) with tables and chairs making mealtimes easy.
The main restaurant and pub have A-La-Carte menu's and the favourite is flame grilled peri-peri chicken with ice cold beer.
Malongane is a Malaria area and precautions should be taken.
There is cell phone reception (roaming) and from around signal hill.
