Training:

The training by experienced instructors is primarily focused on safety and student enjoyment and is done to an International standard, which ensures that your qualification will be recognized and accepted at all the reputable dive destinations in the world. Training takes place over a 1-week period and consists of 3 evening lectures and 2 pool days in heated pools, a total of approximately 20 hours of instruction. We can furthermore accommodate distance training should you prefer this option, through our unique Home Study program. Included in the price is your training pack, textbook, logbook and dive tables.

We can complete the four qualifying Scuba dives plus 1 Snorkel dive in a local lake, which is close to Pretoria, and thus minimize the cost.

Miracle Waters

    Join us for your certification ceremony on successful completion of the course. At this event you will meet fellow divers and receive your certification card (R364.00)

 HOW ABOUT FREE SCUBA DIVER TRAINING?

The standard Advanced Diver package consists of 4 specialties at a cost of R380.00 each.

SPECIAL: If you combine the following 4, the price is only R1280.00

(excluding: Certification card & qualifying dives);

 1. Deep Diving: Deeper than 21 meters to a maximum of 39 - we can qualify you on a reef called Pinnacles at Ponta Malongane or Miracle Waters. Very deep, very quiet and very nice.

2. Night Diving: The reef life changes at night and is simply spectacular. (Can be done at Miracle Waters or in Mozambique).

 3. Navigation: No more “where’s the reef...” or “Which way were we supposed to go?” (Easiest if done at Miracle waters).

 4. Wreck diving: Teaches safe diving practices whilst diving around submerged objects. Qualifying dives can also be done on the Produce and Nebo wrecks at Umkomaas.

You can do more specialties if you so prefer, or change the standard package. The other specialties available are;

5.Equipment: This is a “dry” course - no diving. Completed through       lectures and demonstrations of equipment maintenance and repair. Very useful to sort out those little problems that can spoil a good dive.

6. Nitrox diving(EAN): Mixed gases diving. Longer bottom time, shorter sit time and less fatigue. Great for those busy dive days – R720.00  (Qualifying done at Umkomaas - Nitrox facility).

7. Photography: Capture those great underwater moments forever and show your friends and family what they are missing -  R694.00

 8. Search and Recovery:(R650.00) - Includes dives at Miracle Waters - Ever lost anything in the water , wanted to find it and couldn't? Come and do the SEARCH and RECOVERY course and learn how it is done.

 9. Master Shark Diver: Learn to dive and enjoy being with the master of the ocean. To furthermore study their habits and also how to react when diving with them. This is a must for any diver concerned with the environment.  We offer Shark diving on Protea Banks, Aliwal Shoal, Sodwana, & Mozambique (South & Central).

REEF-TEACH : SODWANA
 Fish and Coral Identification confusing you? Not surprising as South Africa, and the Maputoland Coast in particular, has an astounding 83% of the world's marine fish families (Australia only 68%).Learn more about the reef fish and the corals. DATE: TBC.
 

 LEADERSHIP TRAINING
 These course programs are designed around the candidates needs. (Dive Control Specialist, Open Water Instructor, Specialty Instructor, Advanced Instructor & DCS Instructor.)
 
 TECHNICAL DIVING
 This type of diving for the extremely adventurous will open up new horizons beyond recreational diving. Dates & Costs: TBC
